CLAUDIA'S STORY

Claudia Kruppel had a successful career in IT, but longed for a more rewarding job. With the help of a qualification from TAFE Queensland, she turned her hobby of making terrariums into a successful business; here is her story.

DAVID'S STORY

David Page had already developed a background in game development but wanted to enhance his skills in the post-production industry, focussing on animation and visual effects. The following examples are from his two major second semester projects and project breakdown of The Egg VFX project.

"This was a short group project created as part of my studies. We shot the green-screen footage together and then each made our visual effect sequence. This is a breakdown of my submission showing how it was done," says David.

"A reboot of a visual effect shot before the advent of high-end CGI: Metropolis Breakdown - This is a detailed breakdown of my Metropolis remake project which is still a work-in-progress," concludes David.

Diploma of Graphic Design (CUA50715)

Our diploma qualification in graphic design is ideal for people seeking to advance or develop skills in graphic design, digital arts and visual communications. Our design studios utilise industry-standard software including CMS software for building Content Management System websites and the Adobe Creative Suite software, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver and 3D printers.
